We are looking for a Director of Finance who will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of the organization. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive sustainable growth and make a positive impact on the overall business strategy.

What does the job involve

• Financial Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our mission and objectives.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decisionmaking processes.
• Risk Management
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Investor Relations
  • Interface with investors providing transparent and timely financial updates.
  • Participate in fundraising activities and strategic discussions with potential investors.
• Financial Systems and Processes
  • Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in financial management.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors in Business Administration Economics Finance Accounting or any other relevant field. An MBA or any other advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a finance executive in a fastgrowing & dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of financial management accounting principles and financial systems and proficiency in streamlining and simplifying financial processes
• Leadership skills to inspire and guide a highperforming finance team.
• Passion for making a difference in Africas tech industry.
• An understanding of the business landscape we operate in and guide the leadership team.
