Job Description

Our client on of Ireland’s leading provider of cuttingedge renewable energy solutions is seeking a project engineer to join their team.

As Project Engineer you will manage and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards. The major objective is to coordinate technical activities solve engineering problems and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

You will join an open and honest work environment in one of the fastestgrowing sectors globally. Be part of a company helping Ireland meet its climate targets by installing real renewable energy assets and contributing to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical/Mechanical design & installation of renewable energy systems
  • Client engagement and interfacing
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation
  • Management of Subcontractors
  • Schedule works programs
  • Management of assigned Budget
  • Quality Health Safety and Environmental responsibility for your projects
  • Technical support to customers
  • Proactively develop technical skills and knowledge as to keep pace with new developments
  • Demonstrate an open positive attitude to learning and developing a broad range of skills
  • Share knowledge and impart skills to other team members
  • Stay abreast of trends in relevant industry fields
  • Flexibility to travel
Qualifications
  • Third level Electrical/Sustainable/Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • 2 years of experience in Irish Construction
  • Knowledge of Irish Construction requirements especially around EHS.
  • Experience in Budget Management
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems such as Solar PV Wind Turbines and Biomass Boilers is an advantage.
