INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT BOUTIQUE FIRM WORK LIFE BALANCE (Job ID:460)

Ready to take your intermediate accounting experience to the next level Our client is seeking a fulltime intermediate accountant who is ready to contribute to the success of their exciting and growing firm.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a wellestablished boutique accounting firm with a fun and quirky culture. They are based South Brisbane in an easily accessible central location.

They provide SMSF business compliance taxation and advisory services to a wide range of clients including startups established companies large enterprises and highnetworth individuals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A steady flow of new clients has resulted in the firm’s growth of 20 staff therefore they are seeking an Intermediate Accountant Business Services to join their highly motivated team.

As a Business Services Accountant you will be exposed to a wide range of clients from various industries with complex business services needs and be given ample opportunities for professional development. You will be directly involved with clients and diverse and interesting projects further developing your tax and accounting skills and career.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supporting Partners and Senior Accountants with serving business services clients with taxation and business advisory services
  • Completing tax compliance work for all entities
  • Building & maintaining strong professional relationships with clients
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 2 years’ experience in business services/tax within an Australian Chartered or Public Accounting firm
  • Completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting/commerce or similar tertiary qualification
  • CPA/CA qualified or studying towards
  • Competent IT user with experience with accounting software such as XERO MYOB Reckon QuickBooks APS or similar
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and maintain the highest client service standards
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Possess a positive and willingtohelp attitude
  • Selfstarter with the ability to develop solutions
