Job Description
Extensive knowledge of International Classification of Diseases (ICD) systems and procedures (CPT).
Ability to accurately identify and code medical diagnoses and procedures according to recognized medical standards.
Deep understanding of guidelines and policies related to medical coding and compliance.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interact with medical staff and administrative staff.
High accuracy in work and commitment to confidentiality and privacy in dealing with medical information.
Ability to use electronic coding systems and related software efficiently.
