You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPrincipal Accountabilities • Compiles with all standard operating procedures, work instructions, USAF Technical Orders, Industrial safety and environmental policies. • Inspects, tests, repairs and maintains electrical systems on Fuels assets. • Uses and interprets wiring diagrams, test equipment and special tools. • Charges and repairs air conditioning systems. • Maintains and stores out-loud items: wet and dry charged batteries, electrolyte, battery clamps and other required equipment. • Keeps a stock of charged batteries in accordance with the PWS and as directed by supervision. • Maintains the battery charging room if applicable. • Fits and removes batteries on receipt or out-loud of Fuels assets. • Assists Fuels Technicians as required with Fuels maintenance actions. • Reports worn or broken tools to Fuels supervision and identifies new tool requirements. • Documents time sheets and work orders. • Cleans inside and outside work areas. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Works in maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods. Minimum Requirements • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level. • Ability to read and comprehend all required publications and electrical system schematics. • Capacity to work effectively with diverse workforce encompassing different cultural backgrounds. • Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license. • May be required to operate material handling and light to heavy military type vehicles/equipment. • High School diploma or equivalent required. • Satisfactory completion of formal training. • Two years experience as an electrician required.
