Job Description
A return client in parttime residence is seeking an experienced Housekeeper/cook and Driver couple to care for their beautiful home near Bicester Oxfordshire.
The home is informal and responsibilities will include all housekeeping duties running errands shopping and serving the principal.
You will also be required to prepare healthy fresh meals for the family when they are in residence.
Driving duties will include airport and school runs as well as assisting inside the home when needed. Additionally you will be responsible for maintaining the coalfired boiler by keeping it filled and ensuring it s maintained.
The ideal couple should be child friendly as the family have two teenage daughters. Proxy parenting may be required.
Flexibility is key as you will be expected to ensure the smooth running of the household. You will need to work well alongside another employed gardening couple who take care of the garden making teamwork essential.
While it is useful for both to drive due to the country location it is only essential for one. A car will be provided for work purposes.
A lovely 2/3 bedroom newly refurbished cottage will be provided with consideration given to pets and dependents.
This diverse role is best suited for a flexible hardworking fit and motivated couple.
The role is principally 5 days per week working weekends. Hours are longer when employers are in residence generally 2 weekends per month during term time. Family travel most holidays however longer hours are required when in residence.
The salary is negotiable around 90k gross per annum depending on previous experience.
Mid August start.
