Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager Digital Operations you develop track and evaluate custom customer or specific projects / programs meeting deliverables / targets and drive goals and objectives. You may assist the managers and supervisors to provide support and guide a large and diverse team of professional technical support staff and contractors.

You also create and manage complex budgets and business plans for units relating to project development and implementation. You are responsible for the successful completion of the project(s) by providing leadership strategically managing risk monitoring finances and making sure that each phase of the project starts and ends on schedule. You will work with within the project s scope of work (SOW) or function specification documents (FSD) working together along crossfunctional team within the organization.


Your responsibilities will include:

The primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:


Planning

The successful individual of this role not only needs to plan his/her work but also lay out the tasks for the team. You are required to forecast and determine the work that needs to be done for the proposed project. Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing work for the whole team
  • Estimating costs
  • Developing deliverable schedules as a roadmap for the team (i.e. install supply chain manufacturing commissioning sales etc.)
  • Following the project in case there is a need to handle or supervise some tasks (lead)
  • Reviewing the project in depth to determine if everything is done according to plan.

Set goals

  • The incumbent is to set specific goals signed by the client and to achieve those assigned goals.
  • The incumbent is in charge of reviewing the contractual conditions of performance determining the precision of the work handling requirements and deliverables etc.
  • Etablish goals (i.e. how many hours / workers or types of supplies) are needed.

On time

  • A job/project comes with a specific set of constraints and objectives and timeframe in which everything needs to be ready. Time is crucial to meet the client s needs and satisfaction.

Stay on budget

  • Projects are critical accomplishments. Being cognizant of the project s budget while planning the whole process and performing the work.
  • When the project starts you are required to ensure the crew/team doesn t go above the budget.
  • See costs estimate compare and cut unnecessary costs to stay within budget limits.

Draft contracts

The incumbent will engage at some capacity several groups/contractors/teams to review the draft contracts:

  • The engineer/architects
  • Materials suppliers
  • Subcontractors (electricians install commissioning or service professionals)
  • Other third parties are involved in the project.
  • Keeping all these parties covered with draft contracts is important for completing the project.

Manage risks

  • Demonstrate skills to manage risk. Recognize the possible risks and communicate to the client/customer about on the exposed risks and to reach a mutual agreement of how the risks should be handled or shared.

Other responsibilities

  • Plan and arrange visits to new potential clients.
  • Ensure every client receives enough support and establishes exemplary professional relationship with the clients.
  • Develop and maintain the client network.
  • Coordinate support and conduct training as required.
  • Coordinate and arrange staffing for different phases of projects and assign specific roles/responsibilities.
  • Other additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

- Advanced degree preferred in a relevant field from an accredited university. - Project management certification preferred. - At least 10 years of experience in a leadership position managing more than one project. - 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment - 1+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation. - 3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle - Work experience in a manufacturing environment and signage industry an asset
