Job Description
We are hiring for the role of Field Application Scientist (Molecular Biology Instruments and Consumables) at our rapidly growing innovator biotech instruments and consumables manufacturing company for Mumbai location.
Position: Field Application Scientist
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 35 years in an application role for Molecular Biology Instruments and Consumables
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of molecular biology instruments and consumables.
- Responsible for sales to key accounts.
- Conduct onsite product demonstrations and assist with the installation and validation of equipment.
- Develop and deliver presentations seminars and workshops to educate customers on product applications and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the products.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the product development team for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in molecular biology techniques and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical support activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Molecular Biology Biotechnology Biochemistry or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in an application role involving molecular biology instruments and consumables.
- Strong technical knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as PCR qPCR NGS and DNA/RNA extraction.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Customeroriented with a focus on providing exceptional service.
