Data Architect

We are looking for a strong Data Architect to join our Data information and Analytics team as client facing permanently employed consultants. someone who is passionate about data implementing technology solutions and leading projects teams to achieve business outcomes. There will be exposure to a wide range of industries so the ability to quickly understand new business environment is essential.

What will you do

Key responsibility:

You will be assigned a portfolio of projects to:

• Engage with clients to conceptualize data solutions
• Modernizing existing data environment
• Assisting our sales team with PreSales R&D and POC implementations
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to our team of technical consultants
• Create maintain and optimize data architectures across multiple projects including the designing and building of platform infrastructure
• Guide and assist in assembling complex data products to meet functional / nonfunctional business requirements.
• Identify design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes optimizing data delivery redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability etc.
• Design and build analytics tools utilizing data platforms and products to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive Product Data and Design teams to assist with datarelated technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
• Complete technical reviews for consultants
• Assist with necessary technical training for consultants and clients
• Provide input into consultants technical growth plan
• Drive technical blogs forums and/or workshops
• Assists support desk where applicable

Who do you need to be

• Minimum 8 years working experience in data engineering
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines architectures and data structures.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Build processes supporting data transformation data structures metadata dependency and workload management.
• A successful history of manipulating processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting and working with crossfunctional teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

Formal Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science
• Information Systems Information Technology
• or related field.
• Honors or Masters degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
• BEng or BTech in a field associated with coding software engineering or IT

Technical Qualifications (Advantageous)

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified Data Engineer Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
• AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate
• Databricks Platform Architect Accreditation
• Databricks Certified Data Engineering Associate

Technology experience:

Experience in working with the following technologies:

• Microsoft SQL Stack (SSRS SSAS SSIS MS SQL)
• Microsoft Azure Architecture and Data Engineering
• Microsoft Power BI and Fabric
• AWS Architecture and Data Engineering
