Pay rate $22.75 $1.5 shift differential

The Extrusion Operator position requires mechanical skills and/or prior machine operating experience


The Extrusion Operator is responsible for starting up and adjusting the extrusion machine monitoring the finished product quality and making necessary adjustments to ensure the products color dimensions and uniformity are acceptable.

They may also change rolls of finished products operate a grinder to prepare scrap for ruse and perform changeovers when transitioning from one production run to another. The operator must follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety and report any mechanical problems to the line supervisor or manager.

Completes machine startup making needed adjustments for temperature and die opening and monitors finished product to be certain quality is acceptable.

Must always maintain a neat and clean work area complete machine maintenance and be able to train operator trainees.

13 years of machine operator experience
Must be familiar with setup breakdown and preventative maintenance

Extrusion machine operator experience preferred
