Role Overview:
As an Inspection Manager at ACTS you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all inspection activities within the company. You will lead a team of inspectors and ensure that all projects are completed on time within budget and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inspection procedures and protocols in line with industry standards and company policies
Manage a team of inspectors providing guidance support and training as needed
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
Review and analyze inspection reports identifying any issues or areas for improvement
Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to address any concerns and ensure timely completion of projects
Maintain accurate records of all inspections and prepare reports for clients and management
Keep uptodate with industry developments and advancements in inspection techniques and technology
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all job sites
Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise as needed
Handle any escalated issues or complaints from clients or team members
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction inspection with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of construction materials methods and quality control processes
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in using inspection equipment and software
Professional certifications (e.g. ACI) are preferred
