Job Description
- SAFETY IS FIRST, nothing is more important than safety, be fully aligned with all EH&S standards to achieve the goal of zero (0) lost time injuries at HIDC.
- The Instrument Technician is responsible for performing Routine, Non-Routine, Preventative, Corrective, and Major Maintenance throughout the facility on a variety of equipment up to and including Analyzers, Control Valves, PLC’s, Process Monitoring equipment, DCS, transmitters, switches, PLC’s, proximity devices, level control systems, personnel safety systems, pay meter systems and others etc.
- Provide new plant commissioning support will also be required.
- Problem Solving/Prevention - Recognize existing or potential problems & implement measures to eliminate or reduce their impact. Includes making direct contact with manufacturer representatives and technical resources within to diagnose & solve problems encountered.
