About the Business

My client is a manufacturer of Denim based apparels. Based in Bangladesh and turning over $25M in revenue they sell mainly to European customers including H&M Inditex Bestseller NewYorker DKNY etc. They are seeking a Head of Marketing to lead their Business Development.

Head of Marketing: The Role

• Lead the Marketing function with the core aim to grow business with existing customers and bring in new customers
  
• Support fulfilment of new capacity when ready
• Ensure that the order volume fills the production capacity of the business
  
• Work closely with buyers on product development and concept
  
• Open new doors with European retailers and brands
  
• Work closely with design and technical teams
  
• Present ranges to buyers and close new orders
  
• Lead merchandisers to manage the order from sample production to bulk order delivery working hand in hand with the production team
  

Head of Marketing The Person:

The ideal candidate:

• Will be an experienced Head of Marketing with a track record in onboarding new customers (mainly Denim products)
  
• Will be passionate about product and trends
  
• Will have a good knowledge of product (fabrics/trends)
  
• Will be adept in costings and negotiations
  
• Will have strong communication skills
  
• Will be a team player be able to work cross functionally with design product development and production functions
  
• Will come from a manufacturing background
  

We are looking for someone with a passion and drive to do a good job. The role will be responsible to expand the customer base and to build long term relations with the customers.
