Job Description

Position Title: Communications Agent

Department: Public Relations / Communications

Reports To: Communications Manager / Director of Communications

Location: Miami FL

Employment Type: Fulltime

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Communications Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies to enhance our company’s public image manage media relations and ensure clear and consistent messaging across all platforms. The Communications Agent will work closely with various departments to support internal and external communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts.
    • Prepare and distribute press releases media kits and other relevant materials.
    • Coordinate and manage media inquiries and interview requests.
    • Monitor media coverage and provide analysis.
  • Internal Communications:

    • Assist in the development and dissemination of internal communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
    • Support the planning and execution of internal events and initiatives.
  • Social Media Management:

    • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence.
    • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and followers.
    • Monitor and respond to social media interactions in a timely manner.
  • Crisis Communication:

    • Assist in the development and execution of crisis communication plans.
    • Provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders during a crisis.
    • Monitor and manage the company’s reputation during crisis situations.
  • Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct research to support communication strategies and initiatives.
    • Analyze communication metrics and prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Creative thinker with strong problemsolving skills.
