In the cement industry the factory employs modern drying technology to produce lowcarbon cement products that are environmentally safe. Their production processes technology equipment and environmental safety procedures meet global standards with a regular production capacity of 100 million tons. The company operates 50 largescale cement factories in Zhejiang Jiangxi Fujian as well as international branches in Laos Nepal Indonesia and Myanmar.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the logistics team in Indonesia ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards.
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage maritime logistics operations including scheduling dispatching and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee loading and unloading operations at ports ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with sales production and supply chain teams to forecast demand and plan logistics operations accordingly.
- Negotiate contracts with shipping companies suppliers and service providers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics preparing regular reports for senior management.
- Implement and maintain logistics software systems for inventory management tracking and reporting.
- Develop contingency plans for logistics disruptions to minimize impact on operations.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and environmental standards.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum education level: Diploma (D3) in Maritime Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field. A Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Proficient in English and knowledge of Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain management with a focus on maritime logistics.
- Proven experience in managing largescale logistics operations and leading a team.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and environmental standards.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret logistics data and metrics.
- Proficient in logistics software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Experience in ship shipping is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required for the role.
