Role: Quality & Compliance Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday with early Friday finish

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 60k 65k (plus company car & free charging health insurance pension bonus)

Location: Wednesbury West Midlands (with parking)

We are looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join our client in Wednesbury designing and producing mechanical metal products with electronic controls.

You and your small team will be responsible for all Quality Environmental Health & Safety and compliance aspects of the site.

Required skills:

• This is a senior leadership role and will require you to be personable and skilled in relationship building to maintain strong collaboration throughout the UK teams and European group (additional languages a benefit but not essential).
• Experience of a similar quality management role is essential.
• Experience of a highvolume high complexity manufacturing environment required preferably metal mechanical engineering from raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the business operates in a safe manner
• Ensuring that all products and services meet agreed specifications and Service Level Agreements
• Liaising with internal Group and external customers to support resolution of any quality concerns
• Creating and driving a comprehensive strategy to improve the relevant business areas
• Developing the management systems for the business ensuring accreditation with all standards as applicable notably ISO 9001 & 14001
• Supporting the quality of products purchased by the supply chain team
• Managing the compliance aspects of the business
• Developing an environmental impact strategy and working with the Operational teams to manage the implementation
• Developing and managing annual budgets for relevant departmental areas
