Key Purpose of the Job:
The core focus of this role is to carry out the maintenance reactive calls and the installation of fire extinguishers in accordance with British Standard 5306 Part 3 2017. You will be working with a team of 7 extinguisher technicians nationally.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Installing servicing and maintaining Portable fire extinguishers for National Key and Local accounts.
Working in line with current standards and customer requirements.
To plan and complete call visits within the nominated area ensuring maximum efficiency and best use of resources.
Working closely with EFire s customers building a professional and effective relationships with a wide client base.
Be accountable for ensuring effective area planning to maximise travel time and time on customer premises.to achieve KPI s.
Effectively communicate with our customers to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status.
Provide excellent levels of customer services at all times.
Be responsible for the management & security of vehicle stock tools & equipment.
Complete site surveys for new and additional equipment.
Work in safe practice at all times in line with EFire and customers health and safety procedures.
Any other reasonable requests from management
The post holder will ensure the health safety and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with the Kings Policy.
To actively support at all times company policy and best practice in the area of security with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
The post holder will understand the regulatory fair trading and competition rules relating to their work sufficiently to be able to comply with them relying on their own knowledge or on their ability to recognise that they will need specialist support.
Post holder is authorised to access use or disclose customer information only when needed to do so to perform operational duties. Any other access use or disclosure may only be made on receipt of additional authority in accordance with BS7858 information security.
Implement particular security processes or activities as requested by management.
Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organisation.
Requirements
Essential requirements for the Job:
- Applicants must be BAFE SP101 registered fire extinguisher technician.
- Experience of frontline customer service.
- Ability to work unsupervised with the capability to problem solve.
- Full driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel for work and training when required.
- SelfMotivated.
