DH TEAM LTD a busy friendly company seeking a new full time Accounts & Payroll administrator.


Payroll Assistant / Finance Assistantbenefits in our Seaton head office /

Full Time experienced Payroll & Finance Assistant to join our business reporting to the managing director who takes pride in their staff and working environment and offer a friendly working pattern. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive business that encourages employee development and growth from within. Key Responsibilities: to run our endtoend payrolls. Responding to payroll queries from colleagues. Running payroll reports plus adhoc reports when necessary. Updating the HR system with pay changes. Pension admin for our Nest Pension Schemes. Reconciling our accounts with our payroll figures. To work with and support the HR team where necessary. Matching checking and coding invoices. Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details. Reconciliation of supplier statements. Resolve older queries on Supplier accounts. Timely identification and resolution of queries involving liaison by phone or written communication with internal staff and suppliers. Provide support as needed for the wider team. The ideal candidate: 2 or more years experience within a Payroll team. Have dealt with the high volumes of invoices and will be comfortable assisting with high value payment runs. Be able to prioritise their workload and work to strict deadlines. Be confident with the full purchase ledger process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role
  • Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
  • Excellent understanding of multilocation payroll and taxes
  • Familiarity with payroll software and A keen eye for detail
  • An analytical mind and good math skills
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
  • Business Administration Accounting skills are an advantage
