Responsible for planning and directing programs relevant to employee welfare and relations. The role holder is also responsible for resolving employee grievances and providing counseling to Kahramaa staff.
Key responsibilities
Formulates programs and activities designed to boost employee morale and welfare services and recognition programs
Formulates and communicates to employees policies on discipline e.g. attendance issues termination with cause etc.
Advises on appropriate disciplinary or other corrective techniques that are effective for a range of conduct and performance problems
Carries out disciplinary actions when necessary and prepares necessary reports and correspondence
Investigates litigations of workrelated accidents and prepares reports and recommendations; collaborates with police and/or medical facilities on such matters as needed
Performs activities pertaining to end of service administrative processes and actions including the administration of a program of exit interviews
Recommends solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties
Provides basic counselling to staff who have performance related obstacles
Monitors scheduled absences such as holidays or travel and coordinates actions to ensure that staff absence has been adequately covered to ensure continuity of services
Informs affected staff or residents of unexpected absences from work and coordinates actions ensuring the continuity of services such as cancellation of events and locations
Collaborates with local law enforcement entities on police civil and criminal cases involving expatriate employees for facilitating their employment termination and final departuretravel formalities as may be required
Proactively resolves employee grievances within the framework of KAHRAMAA HR policy; representing KAHRAMAA before third parties the Ministry of Labor or any quasijudicial bodies on cases involving specific cases of employee claims
Conducts outside visits for the purpose of investigation
Performs miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration / Psychology Postgraduate degree in Business Administration or HR preferred
More than 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Bi Lingual Spoken and written English and Arabic preferable

Knowledge of ISO/Risk management standards and procedures.
