Job Description

Position: Registered Manager – Home Care
Salary: £40000£45000 per annum
Location: Cheltenham
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:305pm

I am recruiting for a Registered Manager for a family run home care business in Cheltenham who specialise in supporting people in their own homes. They take huge pride in providing compassionate and personcentred care to our vulnerable community.

We are looking for a business focused enthusiastic and professional manager to ensure that quality is always at the forefront of the branch’s ethos.


Responsibilities include:
  • Motivation recruitment and retention of staff
  • Supervisions and Appraisals
  • Care Plans Assessments and Reviews
  • Compliance
  • Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of Local Authority Procedures and Safeguarding
  • Participation in the oncall rota when needed

What we need from you:
  • Having or working towards a Level 5 NVQ or equivalent
  • A knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service including the need for the management and delivery of personcentred service
  • Knowledge of and previous management experience within a domiciliary care and Mental Health service is essential.
  • Ability to effectively manage the performance of others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent at building relationships with key stakeholders including the local council
  • Selfmotivated and proactive.
  • Professional attitude
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A good Knowledge of Tewkesbury Cheltenham and Stroud is preferred
  • Driver with own vehicle
