Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction aligned to the curriculum and learning standards
• Establish a culture for learning within the classroom ensuring academic social and emotional growth for students
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a middle school mathematics endorsement
• Ability to assess student learning and modify or enhance instruction as needed
• Knowledge of learning styles and skill in using standardsbased varied teaching methods to address student learning styles
• Ability to work with a diverse student population and establish open and regular communication with parents and guardians
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
