Assistant Professor-Pre Production Artist

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Assistant Professor specializing in Advanced Drawings Preproduction (character design background) and Art & Design History. This tenuretrack position offers an opportunity to inspire and mentor students in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in studio art digital art and theoretical knowledge of art history contributing to the academic and creative growth of our students.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise and teaching experience in Advanced Drawings Preproduction and Art & Design History.
  
• Proficiency in traditional and digital art mediums software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and industrystandard tools for art and design.
  
• 3 years of experience in teaching in Universities/Colleges. Industry experience would be an addition.
  
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence studentcentered learning and fostering diversity and inclusion in higher education.
  
• Active research agenda with publications and presentations in relevant academic venues.
  
• Effective communication skills including the ability to mentor and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
