About Our Client
Our client scores companies and cities on their environmental performance. They are looking to build and train a team of scorers to contribute to the successful delivery of the 2024 scoring process. This would involve applying scoring methodologies to various responses across climate change water security and forests.
About The Role
We are seeking to hire candidate(s) passionate about developing a career in environmental sustainability with a keen eye for data. The role provides an excellent opportunity for you to join a fastpaced and diligent scoring team.
For the right candidates this experience could lead to excellent opportunities and supercharge a career in sustainability with successful candidates receiving training to qualify as a recognized scorer (the role requires scorers to undertake three weeks fulltime paid training followed by an exam).
Key responsibilities:
Working independently as part of the scoring team to deliver the annual scoring cycle including:
Undertake and successfully pass the training course to become a certified scorer.
Scoring corporate and/or city responses to high degree of accuracy in line with scoring criteria
Perform quality assurance checks against defined scoring criteria
Requirements
High attention to detail and ability to work to tight timelines.
The ability to understand and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
Good proficiency with IT tools MS tools. Role requires basic excel skills/web browser use.
Diligent working style with a proven record of working independently under tight timelines to deliver projects successfully. (Desirable not essential)
Academic and/or professional experience in climate change water security deforestation corporate sustainability and/or sustainable cities.
Location/hours:
Training 1 month
Scorers will be expected to Work remotely so access to reliable internet is a must.
Standard UK working day (9am 6pm).
Equipment requirements:
Scorers are expected to have their own Laptop device to work from; a second screen/monitor is preferable.
The company will provide licenses for required software.
