Shift Schedule: Monday Friday: 7am5pm
Call Schedule: To be shared among physicians in group
Call Ratio: TBD
Physician in Practice: 6 General Surgeons
APPs in Practice: 4 Fulltime
# of beds:
Carrollton: 181
Villa Rica: 53
Responsibilities:
Provide immediate and comprehensive surgical care for patients with acute emergent and trauma conditions
Perform surgical procedure including emergency surgeries laparoscopic surgeries and trauma surgeries
Assess diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute surgical conditions
Receive ED calls transfers and referrals from Tanner s critical access hospitals Higgins General Hospital in Bremen GA and Tanner East Alabama in Wedowee AL
Requirements:
Active/Pending GA License
Residency trained in General Surgery
BC/BE
