Position Overview
As an MSK Physiotherapist (Band 6 or 7) at our practice you will be at the heart of delivering outstanding patient care. We re seeking someone with at least 5 years of postqualification experience who excels in manual therapy dry needling and rehabilitation. Your expertise will help our patients achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life.
What Youll Do
- Thorough Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions including detailed history taking physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Personalised Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings patient goals and evidencebased practices.
- HandsOn Therapy: Provide handson manual therapy exercise prescription and other therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and enhance functional outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on selfmanagement techniques exercises and lifestyle modifications to support their longterm wellbeing.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals including physicians surgeons and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records including treatment plans progress notes and communications with other healthcare providers.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest developments in musculoskeletal physiotherapy through continuous professional development and participation in relevant training programmes.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- State licensure and registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
