Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer. As a CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer your daytoday tasks will include operating and programming machines machining and milling parts ensuring quality control and maintaining and troubleshooting machinery. You will also collaborate with the team to optimize manufacturing processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the production line.
Qualifications
- Machine Operation Machining and Milling skills of 3 and 5axis machines
- Knowledge and experience in quality control processes
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Experience with CAM programming software for 3 and 5axis machining
- Possess a mindset of Safe Excellence
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with GD&T
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industries is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification in machining or related field is preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry tools and material weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Noise and vibration from operation equipment is consistent though ear plugs are provided.
