Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd is specializing in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas we guide you through the professional registration job placement visa and employment permit processing.
We are hiring Surgical Registrar into a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- To act under the supervision of the Surgical Consultant in the provision of a General Surgical service and to support the Surgical Consultant in their duties.
- To admit patients from the Emergency Department
- To attend daily ward rounds with the surgical team.
- Take hand over of patients from previous shift Registrar so that continuity of care is ensured and immediate decisions are made and orders written.
- To review patients on a regular basis in accordance with the plan of care made at the beginning of the shift and inform the consultant of any issues or problems.
Requirements
- MBBS degree or its equivalent in medicine.
- Current Irish Medical Council registration that is pertinent.
- Strong morals and dedication to the quality and safety of patients
- A minimum of five years of postgraduate acute care nursing experience at the registrar level in a hospital setting is required.
- Completed the ACLS course or be prepared to enroll in one
- Demonstrated capacity to contribute effectively to a team.
- The capacity for successful communication.
