As a mechanical engineer you will be responsible for the design calculation and construction of (complex) machinery and products with a focus on making mechanical (partial) concepts fully productionready. You will primarily report to a (senior) designer or lead engineer. Your tasks mainly consist of engineering work such as incorporating technical requirements into the design selecting materials according to specifications and calculating structures and components. When working on a project you are a problem solver at heart. The duration of a project typically ranges from 6 to 18 months. You will often be involved in developing parts for new machines or optimization challenges. One time you might be working on a packaging machine and in your next project you could be engineering a part of a wind turbine. We have opportunities available for both entrylevel and experienced mechanical engineers.
A technical HBO or university education preferably in mechanical engineering or mechanical design.
At least 2 years of work experience as a mechanical engineer or in machine engineering and equipment construction.
Familiarity with CE (The Machinery Directive) and risk assessment techniques (FMEA).
Knowledge of the Vmodel as a working method.
Proficient in the Dutch language.
Attention to detail and precision in output.
Customeroriented mindset.
Strong organizational skills resultoriented and problemsolving capabilities.
Creativity enthusiasm and a healthy dose of curiosity.
A permanent position for 32 or 40 hours per week
