Job Description
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is on the lookout for a committed Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to assist gradeschool students in the Lockport area. Were searching for individuals who are enthusiastic about helping deaf and hard of hearing students achieve their highest academic potential. This position requires working closely with educators administrators and families to deliver vital support and customized instruction. Ideal candidates should be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) adept with assistive technology and experienced in creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Become a key part of our team and contribute significantly to student success and wellbeing.
Details:
- FullTime positions available
- School Year
- Immediate interview scheduling available
- Occasional travel required; mileage will be reimbursed
Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Bachelor s Degree in Deaf Education/Special Education.
- Expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly preferred.
- Valid Illinois PEL certification with an endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Knowledge of the IEP process and experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school setting.
