ITBM is a diversified company providing a comprehensive range of highquality products and support services to government and commercial clients globally. We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Food Service Staff to join our team.
Location: Deployed in any country where the company provides services for military missions including Poland Germany Greece etc.
Cook Responsibilities:
- Responsible for food preparation and handling in a Military Base kitchen.
- Prepare readycooked meals and place them in the serving line.
- Practice workplace health and safety procedures.
- Apply food safety procedures in the kitchen and dining area.
- Serve food to customers via serving lines.
- Basic understanding and ability to communicate in English is an advantage (not obligatory).
- One or more years of experience in a related field required.
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team.
- Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff including line cooking food preparation and dish plating.
- Oversee and organize kitchen stock and ingredients.
- Ensure a firstin firstout food rotation system and verify all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.
- Keep cooking stations stocked especially before and during prime operation hours.
- Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards.
- Work with the head chef to maintain kitchen organization staff ability and training opportunities.
- Verify that food storage units meet standards and are consistently wellmanaged.
Food Service Worker Responsibilities:
- Take care of overall cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
- Clean tables and chairs.
- Clean kitchen and dining floors.
- Empty trash bins.
- Clean plates and cooking pans.
- Unpack readycooked meals.
Warehouseman Responsibilities:
- Assist with shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders pulling materials packing boxes and placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks shelves or bins according to organizational standards.
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders printing requests and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting physical inventory.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves pallet areas and workstations neat. Sweep dust and mop. Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Requirements:
- One or more years of experience in a related field required.
- Ability to converse read and write in English.
- Perform roles and responsibilities under the direct supervision of the frontline supervisor.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional customerservice skills.
