Our client is leading the charge in revolutionizing mental health and dementia research through the application of advanced AI and data analytics. Their mission is to enhance precision medicine and improve patient outcomes by utilizing an extensive repository of clinical records and cuttingedge technologies.
Responsibilities:
Conduct indepth analyses of largescale psychiatric and dementia datasets utilizing advanced AI and machine learning methodologies.
Develop optimize and deploy natural language processing (NLP) algorithms to extract and interpret information from unstructured clinical narratives.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including bioinformaticians clinicians and data engineers to facilitate drug discovery and optimize clinical trial processes.
Design and implement data preprocessing pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity.
Contribute to the development of predictive models to identify potential therapeutic targets and patient stratification strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Bioinformatics or a closely related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
Strong programming skills in Python and/or R with practical experience in libraries such as TensorFlow PyTorch scikitlearn and NLTK or spaCy for NLP tasks.
Solid understanding of AI machine learning and NLP concepts with handson experience in supervised and unsupervised learning feature engineering and model evaluation.
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
Passion for leveraging technology to improve mental health outcomes and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.
