Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for experienced fulltime Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support and advice to Manufacturing Technicians on new programs and/or ongoing program enhancements. Develop and conduct tests to enhance manufacturing processes monitor and compile test data perform problem solving and provide technical support to resolve technical issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS) NC program and Tool/Gauge plan with Siemens NX.
- Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.
- Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection design and deployment.
- Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers feedback.
- Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement layout improvements and expansion.
- Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.
- Participate actively in companywide productivity and quality programs.
- Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX).
Requirements
Qualification and skills:
- Diploma in an Engineering discipline with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong understanding and hands on with precision machining tool (CNC 5Axis / lathe / milling etc.).
- Team player and able to work closely with other teams on crossfunctional projects.
- Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.
- Good analytical communication and interpersonal related skills.
