Our client a selffunded national buildtosuit development firm with expertise across multiple verticals including singletenant net leased (STNL) and specialized healthcare & veterinary facilities seeks an ambitious Business Development Representative to join their collaborative team in based out of Chicago.
This is a rare opportunity for an early career leasing or investment sales broker to leverage their industry knowledge & sales expertise in a lucrative commercial real estate (CRE) focused sales role with unlimited financial upside and growth potential.
This role is hybrid working in person 34 days/week in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
A day in the life of the successful Business Development Representative includes but is not limited to:
- Procuring and maintaining new CRE development projects through prospecting and networking
- Collaborating with firm Principals & team members to pursue repeat & referral business
- Scheduling & conducting persuasive inperson meetings with prospective clients
- Attending industry conferences trade shows & other networking events to expand the firms base
- Following up on & qualifying leads from company seminars and marketing initiatives
Requirements
The ideal Business Development Representative candidate possesses the following skills & experience:
- 24 years of progressively more successful CRE sales leasing or development experience
- Experience with STNL medical healthcare veterinary or related asset classes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated trackrecord of success in building relationships with key decision makers in the CRE development process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on conversational CRE terminology concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills including creating and fostering longterm client relationships
- Intrisically selfmotivated and able to work successfully in a team environment
2-4+ years of progressively more successful CRE sales, leasing, or development experience Experience with STNL, medical, healthcare, veterinary or related asset classes is highly preferred Demonstrated track-record of success in building relationships with key decision makers in the CRE development process Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on conversational CRE terminology concepts Strong interpersonal skills, including creating and fostering long-term client relationships Intrinsically self-motivated, and able to work successfully in a team environment
