Company Overview: Our client is seeking a dedicated Wind Farm Technician to join their team
of 1015 professionals managing a largescale wind farm in a rare MondayFriday daytime
hours technician opportunity. This facility spans 14000 acres and includes 120 wind turbines.
The hiring manager a former Air Force HVAC technician has built a successful career over the
past 17 years progressing from a trainee to the site manager. This role offers a clear career path
for motivated individuals.
Role Overview: The Wind Farm Technician will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing
wind turbines. Responsibilities will range from routine maintenance tasks like cleaning bearing
grease to major rebuilds in the shop. The company provides a comprehensive library of manuals
schematics and fieldaccessible iPads ensuring you have the resources to tackle most problems
efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on 120 wind
turbines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Technical ProblemSolving: Utilize the company s extensive library of manuals and
schematics along with an iPad for field access to diagnose and solve technical issues.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a 1015 person team sharing knowledge and
expertise to maintain high operational standards.
OnCall Duty: Participate in a rotating oncall schedule ensuring turbine functionality
during offhours. If oncall duties require 40 hours of work you will have the option to
take your scheduled day off or earn overtime.

schedule with the flexibility of rotating oncall duty. This often results in threeday weekends
allowing you to recharge and maintain a healthy worklife balance.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $2634/hr dependent on relevant experience and performance during the
interview process.

Qualifications:
Relevant technical experience preferably in wind turbine maintenance or a related field.
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to follow detailed manuals and schematics.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to participate in rotating oncall duty.
Must be a strong electrician or mechanic willing to learn more skills.
Must be OK climbing up to 300 feet.
