Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care at a correctional facility in Santa Fe New Mexico. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other care team members to provide nursing care to inmate patients while ensuring adherence to standards of care and practice.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for examination laboratory tests and other medical procedures.

Assist the physicians and other healthcare professionals in diagnosis and treatment.

Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in creating and evaluation of patient care plans.

Maintain reports of patients medical histories and monitor changes in their condition.

Provide basic bedside care like dressing wounds changing bandages inserting catheters and giving injections.

Adhere with the protocols norms rules and regulations of the facility in order to maintain complete medical records.

Maintain hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures.

Promote health and wellness and help improve the quality of life for inmates.

Perform other duties as assigned.
