The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning designing and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role involves ensuring that all projects are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards while adhering to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project plans designs and specifications.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
Prepare detailed drawings blueprints and technical specifications.
Oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion.
Ensure compliance with local national and international construction regulations and standards.
Coordinate with architects contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and performance ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during construction.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all projects.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality and efficiency.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in civil engineering.
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Civil Engineer or in a similar role.
Indepth knowledge of construction processes materials and regulations.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in civil engineering software and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of the Saudi market and regulatory environment is an advantage.
