Role Objective The Project Manager will be responsible for leading project teams and managing all activities in Public Relations, Marketing, Media and Communication projects life cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, and closing) associated with projects that are long-term, line of business-wide, technical, and medium to high in risk, scope, and complexity. In addition to keep track of the deliverable of the day-to-day operation of the department. The Project Manager will be responsible for the Planning Function within the PR and Communication department that orchestrate the daily tasks including identifying of the tasks, distribution of the work, follow up on the execution based on the define timelines, identify risks and dependencies. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion. • Plan, distribute and follow up on the Day to day operation of the PR and Comms department • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. • Report and escalate to management as needed. • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. • Perform risk management to minimize project risks. • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. • Record, transcribe, and distribute Planning function minutes of meetings. • Monitor, respond to, and distribute incoming communications. • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary. • Organize and maintain project files and records. • Assist in preparation of presentation materials and briefs.
