Key Responsibilities

• Estimate Development: Analyze and compile data impacting labor materials equipment and location costs to ensure highquality and timely estimates.
  

• Project Analysis: Review drawings specifications and site conditions incorporating input from field operations.
  

• Innovative Solutions: Explore alternative construction methods to enhance bid competitiveness.
  

• Accuracy Assurance: Verify takeoff quantities and utilize cost history to ensure precise estimates.
  

• Stakeholder Communication: Present estimates to senior management and communicate bid information to field operations.
  

• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain business relationships to increase regional bid opportunities.
  

• Pre construction Leadership: Lead designbuild pre construction services to ensure competitive estimates and schedules.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• Educational Background: Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  

• Industry Experience: 8 years of estimating experience in civil marine bridge or tunnel construction.
  

• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office AGTEK Takeoff Primavera Scheduling and estimating software like HCSS HeavyBid.
  

• Regulatory Knowledge: Advanced understanding of agency (U)DBE requirements and civil construction industry standards.
