Job Description

Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor within the Construction Industry and they are looking to hire a Facilities Engineer who will be responsible for improving the operational efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to a team of Electrical/Mechanical Technicians and ensure maintenance goals are achieved.
  • Participate in inspection for prospective maintenance jobs and generate required report.
  • Participate in New Maintenance Sites take off and allocation of resources.
  • Provide support in achieving maintenance appointments and management of Mobile team s calendar for optimum value.
  • Ensure all maintenance and commissioning works are carried out to the highest quality standard and on time.
  • Carryout scheduled audit of maintenance sites and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly reports on all corrective maintenance jobs done.
  • Prepare methodical progress reports to the Facility Manager on New Installations and when required.
  • Ensure all team members carry out their duties with highest regard for the company s HSE policy.
  • Efficient and Effective tools & Material allocation management and accounting.
  • Ability to attend to outofstate projects physically and remotely.






Requirements

  • Minimum of BSc degree/HND or its equivalent in Engineering.
  • 35years experience in installation commissioning and maintenance of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial type buildings.
  • Able to Monitor and deliver projects within stipulated timelines.
  • Ability to solve problems on own initiative and effective project coordination.
  • Good Working Knowledge of all relevant building services.
  • 12 years vocational training will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of micro soft office suite.
  • Effective Report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in written & oral English.
  • Must possess good team playing skills.

Ability to attend to out-of-state projects physically and remotely. Good team playing skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Time management skills. Effective Report writing skills Proficiency in written & oral English. Knowledge of micro Microsoft Office suite.
