Our focus is Civil Structural and Electrical engineering on the largest wind farm solar farm microgrid or battery storage projects in North America.

KCS Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer for a variety of projects located throughout the US. Some travel will be required.

• Perform Structural Engineering for design of buildings telecom and transmission line structures.
  
• Perform site assessments prepare plan & details perform civil and structural calculations as required for complete design.
  
• Provide direction to other engineers and designers for preparation of drawings and calculations coordinate with other disciplines such as civil surveying electrical and mechanical as required for a complete design.
  
• Preparation and maintenance of project status reports; project meetings coordinate tasks with other disciplines clients and vendors. Candidate will also be interacting with clients and building officials during the course of design.
  
• Construction observation; respond to RFIs and field changes; construction documentation; submittal reviews; test result reviews; etc.
  
• Support proposal and estimate preparation customer relations RFP Responses and attend conferences etc.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from US University or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 5 yrs. Structural Engineering experience required. Previous experience in Telecom or T&D work is preferred.
  
• SE or PE license is preferred with ability to obtain license in other states.
  
• Codes & Standards Experience: ACI 318 AISC Steel Manual ASCE7 NEC NESC C2 EIATIA 222 G etc.
  
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD ver. 2010 or higher Microstation V8i MS Office RISA 3D CSC TEDDS MathCAD Hilti Anchors LPILE PLSCAD etc.
