Graphic Designer (PartTime Contract)
ARK Products is a leading designer manufacturer and seller of innovative sensory tools and special needs products worldwide. Founded in 2000 the company provides a complete line of oral motor tools sensory chews feeding and drinking aids speech therapy tools and other specialty products to customers in all 50 states and more than 50 countries. ARK designs and manufactures its differentiated branded products inhouse at its South Carolina headquarters with highquality food and medicalgrade raw materials.
Job description
We are seeking a highly creative and resultsdriven Graphic Designer to assist our team on a parttime as needed basis. As a Contract Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for a variety of different customers channels and contexts including packaging brochures website assets social media content email templates product concepts and more. The ideal candidate will have productbased ecommerce experience with an eye for creating designs that resonate with our target audience increase brand awareness and promote sales. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Marketing Department to understand project requirements target audience goals and key messaging to ensure designs effectively communicate the desired message
Maintain brand consistency and adhere to design guidelines ensuring all visual assets align with our brand s tone style and values
Produce artistic renderings of products that highlight key features benefits and unique selling points
Work closely with the Product Development team to provide concept sketches for prototyping and new product design
Collaborate with the Product Development Team to understand project requirements objectives and constraints
Suggest ideas for new marketing materials and/or improvements for existing assets where applicable
Special projects as assigned
Requirements
Requirements:
Strong portfolio that showcases related design skills and experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other industrystandard design software
Experience with web design and knowledge of UI/UX design principles
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project requirements
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
Nice to Have:
Experience with product sketches/renderings
Capacity:
This is a parttime contract position on an asneeded basis. Hours per week will vary. ARK Products is located at 703 Clemson Rd. Columbia SC 29229 but it is not required to work within the building as the Graphic Designer. Remote applicants are encouraged to apply.

Requirements: 2+ years of experience in graphic design for similar company(s) Strong portfolio that showcases related design skills and experience Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design software Experience with web design and knowledge of UI/UX design principles Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Nice to Have: Photography and/or video experience would be a plus for additional opportunities to work together Experience with product sketches/renderings Capacity: This is a part-time, contract position on an as-needed basis.
