Job Overview: This position is primarily home and fieldbased with occasional visits to our office in Manchester. The Employer Engagement Manager (EEM) will play a crucial role in the success of our Preemployment department. The ideal candidate should be driven targetoriented and motivated by both targets and commission. We seek individuals who thrive in a goaldriven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Duties:
- Implement the organisations B2B sales and marketing strategy to promote our core Preemployment standards and engage employers of all sizes.
- Meet departmental KPIs and identify new business opportunities including new markets growth areas trends customers products and services for the Preemployment division.
- Collaborate closely with the assigned progression coordinator to maximize employment outcomes for our learners.
- Identify key contacts within organisations and generate leads through proactive outreach to potential employers and referral partners particularly within the telecoms sector.
- Establish and open new business relationships with telecoms companies to secure placements for learners in L2 and L3 telecoms courses.
- Conduct facetoface virtual and phone meetings with clients.
- Generate opportunities for preemployment courses.
- Understand customer needs and develop effective plans to meet them utilising our groups training portfolio.
- Think and work strategically to set aims objectives and implement operational changes that improve the business.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of our Preemployment courses and provide guidance to others.
- Ensure organisational alignment and understanding of the need for change among staff members.
- Maintain accurate records of employers training and interview feedback.
- Communicate accurate job descriptions and training needs across the department.
- Coordinate with the marketing department to discuss promotional strategies and activities.
- Continuously seek ways to improve business operations.
- Attend seminars conferences and events relevant to the role.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in the business and educational landscape.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy of our group.
- Inform employers about coinvestment opportunities.
- Lead sales presentations to potential clients.
- Source and initiate contact with suitable potential clients particularly within the telecoms industry.
- Attend exhibitions and networking events.
- Provide weekly reports on pipeline and individual performance.
- Participate in best practice meetings with the sales and progression team.

- Stay informed about funding changes and growth opportunities in the industry.

Experience:
- Essential: Experience in a B2B sales environment with a proven track record of winning new business in the FE and training sector.
- Essential: Ability to overachieve demanding sales targets and work to tight deadlines.
- Essential: Experience in selling recognised qualifications.
- Desirable: Experience working in educational environments within the FE and Skills Sector especially adult provision.
- Desirable: Experience opening business relationships with telecoms companies.
