Speech Language Pathologist

Position Summary: This role involves supporting the communication needs of students while maintaining a flexible and responsive approach to their evolving requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to organize workload and prioritize assigned tasks.
  
• Openness and willingness to adapt based on new data and information.
  
• Flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of the students and staff served.
  

Reports to the Building Principal.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in SpeechCommunication SpeechLanguage Pathology or Communication Disorders/Speech Services from an accredited institution of higher education.
  
• Appropriate Colorado Department of Education Certification as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist ages 021.
  

Work Environment Requirements:

• Work occurs in the office classroom and educational settings.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  
• Ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and staff.
  

Physical Demands:

• Work primarily involves walking standing and sitting.
  
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds climbing stairs bending kneeling and crouching.
  
• Use of computer keyboard and manual sign forms.
  
• Normal or aided vision and hearing are required for effective communication.
