Telecommunications Project Manager PMP Certified

Department Overview:

The Projects Team is made up of Project Managers Implementation Engineers

Field Supervisors & Installers all working together in a customer satisfaction led culture often with

challenging implementation schedules because we are deploying and upgrading missioncritical

communication systems. Together we deliver stateoftheart P25 and DMR solutions to cities counties

and businesses throughout the Southeast.

Position Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is responsible for mapping out the path to successful

project delivery collaborating with customers consultants and coworkers to progress along

that path. This involves:

Reading contract documents to understand our scope of work.

Creating updating and maintaining project plans and schedules.

Updating and maintaining cost estimates and issue logs.

Conducting project meetings to provide status updates to stakeholders & taking

accurate meeting minutes.

Negotiating &preparing change orders.

Procuring equipment materials & subcontractors.

Requirements

3 years of handson experience managing multiple $2MM telecommunications projects concurrently. Digital RF and microwave system deployment experience including site development is Strongly preferred.

PMP certification is mandatory.

A bachelor s degree in a business or technical area of knowledge is REQUIRED

Experience delivering solutions to outside customers is mandatory.

3 years of handson experience managing multiple concurrent $2MM telecommunications data center or network deployment projects for external customers. Digital RF and microwave system deployment experience is Highly preferred.

Site/facility development experience is also valued.

Experience leading inperson presentations to customers & stakeholders.

Proficiency with MS Project Excel Word PowerPoint and Teams.

10% 25% travel as needed.

Must have a valid US Drivers license must pass a preemployment drug screen &

background check.

MUST LIVE in Florida

Must have and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of: RF circuitry & propagation, digital circuitry, solid state Circuitry & A/C circuitry-RF troubleshooting Installation of telecommunications equipment Testing & maintaining two-way radio & associated equipment Programing radio equipment-Good applied computer skills Ability to learn & put to use various aspects of high-tech wireless equipment maintenance Must be able to read & understand electronic drawings, schematics & documentation Must be competent in electronic equipment as related to job tasks Must be able to lift items that weigh 50 lbs. on a regular basis Must have the ability to bend, crouch, walk around on a regular basis. Must demonstrate competency in electronics soldering (surface & through hole)
