Responsibilities
- Analyze customers disparate data sources to design & tailor a data model that unifies the data (e.g. Salesforce analytics data third party data etc.) to meet customers digital marketing use cases.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architect & CDP Strategist to enable data ingestion integration and segmentation of customer use cases and business requirements.
- Build and Test schema design by loading sample data within the platform & coordinating with Data Engineer consultants for customer data importing.
- Build test & schedule customer segments/automated data pipelines to activate use cases
- Develop sophisticated SQL to provide answers to customers business questions with the combined platform data (e.g. 360degree view of the customer across data sources)
- Create data mapping runbook and segment definition documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5 years in data engineering and modeling
- Experience working with digital marketing and analytics data from various sources (Google/Adobe Analytics Salesforce Advertising Third party data etc.)
- Expert in database schemas including star snowflake and others
- Experience in designing and implementing the unification of data from various sources.
- Proficiency with data transformation & ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Talend Snaplogic) on large data sets.
- Proficiency with complex SQL and NoSQL experience
- Experience in programming languages (Python) and PySpark
- Experience in pulling data from APIs using Python
- Strong verbal & written communication skills to coordinate with Clients and other stakeholders.
- Experience working on cloud platforms/services like AWS AzureGCP etc.
- Experience working in multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have:
- Adobe AEP or any CDP experience
