We are seeking a Team Leader/Manager with at least 7 years of experience in Australian public accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to oversee and delegate tasks to their team.

About the Role

As a Team Leader/Manager you will manage compliance tasks and tax advice ensuring high standards and timely outputs. You will blend highquality accounting and taxation services with effective team coordination and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting taxation and advisory tasks across various industries.
  • Provide team guidance and technical advice creating a collaborative work environment.
  • Work with Senior Management to streamline processes and develop operational efficiencies.
  • Review and manage compliance tasks (financial reports tax returns etc.).
  • Oversee annual tax planning and provide specialised tax optimisation advice.
  • Review and manage advisory reports on clients business performance and strategic planning.
  • Communicate complex accounting taxation and business matters clearly.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in tax and business services roles.
  • At least 2 years as a manager or team leader.
  • Proven track record in workflow management and meeting client deadlines.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience servicing a diverse client base.
  • Proficiency in accounting software especially Xero.
  • Strong communication skills and a teamoriented mindset.
