Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Analyst

Location: West part of Singapore

Position Type: Fulltime Shift Work

Reports To: Quality Control Manager

About the Company: Our client is a leading chemical manufacturing company dedicated to producing highquality chemical products for various industries. Our commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned us as a key player in the market. They are looking for a diligent and detailoriented Quality Control Analyst to join our team and ensure the highest standards of product quality.

Job Summary: The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for performing various quality control tests and inspections on raw materials inprocess samples and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications. The role requires working in shifts to maintain continuous quality monitoring and support production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Testing and Analysis:

    • Conduct routine and nonroutine tests on raw materials inprocess samples and finished products using analytical instruments and techniques.
    • Perform chemical physical and microbiological analyses according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  2. Data Recording and Reporting:

    • Accurately document test results and maintain detailed records of all analyses performed.
    • Prepare and present quality control reports highlighting any deviations from standards and recommending corrective actions.
  3. Inspection and Compliance:

    • Inspect raw materials intermediate products and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
    • Ensure that all quality control activities comply with company policies industry regulations and safety standards.
  4. Instrument Maintenance and Calibration:

    • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with analytical instruments.
  5. Continuous Improvement:

    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and procedures.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  6. Shift Work:

    • Work in rotating shifts to provide 24/7 quality control support for the manufacturing plant.
    • Ensure smooth handover and communication between shifts to maintain consistent quality monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or a related role in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in using analytical instruments such as GC HPLC FTIR and spectrophotometers.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical testing methods and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
