P21 Wireless Wearhouse Consultant

Our client is implementing Wireless Wearhouse with Prophet 21 Web verision. They are in need of an experience consultant for a 6 month engagement that has implemented Wireless Wearhouse has a strong understanding of Prophet 21.

The project involves the integration and implementation of a Wireless Warehouse system using the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) platform. The objective is to enhance warehouse operations by streamlining inventory management improving accuracy and increasing operational efficiency through realtime data access and mobility solutions.

Scope of Work

1. Assessment and Planning

   • Conduct a thorough assessment of the current warehouse operations and processes.
   • Identify key areas where wireless technology can provide the most significant improvements.
   • Develop a detailed implementation plan including timelines resource allocation and risk management strategies.

2. System Configuration

   • Configure the Prophet 21 system to support wireless operations including the setup of mobile devices barcode scanners and wireless networks.
   • Customize P21 workflows to optimize for wireless transactions and data capture.
   • Integrate wireless hardware with the P21 system ensuring seamless communication and data synchronization.

3. Data Migration and Integration

   • Migrate existing inventory data to the new wirelessenabled system.
   • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.
   • Integrate the Wireless Warehouse system with other enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM to ensure unified operations and data consistency.

4. User Training and Support

   • Develop comprehensive training programs for warehouse staff and management.
   • Provide handson training sessions to ensure all users are proficient in using the new wireless system.
   • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to address any issues that arise postimplementation.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance

   • Conduct rigorous testing of the wireless system to ensure it meets performance and reliability standards.
   • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the system meets business requirements and user expectations.
   • Implement quality assurance measures to monitor system performance and address any discrepancies.

6. GoLive and PostImplementation Support

   • Oversee the golive process ensuring a smooth transition from the old system to the new wirelessenabled system.
   • Provide immediate support during the initial phase to address any issues that may arise.
   • Conduct postimplementation reviews to evaluate system performance and identify areas for further optimization.

• Excellent project management and communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and ensure project success.
• Ability to provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to warehouse staff.

This is a 90% remote project with travel during major milestones.
