Statement of Work
Objective
The objective of this statement of work is to define work activities and deliverables for second phase of the project for experienced ServiceNow Senior Developer with strong platform development skills to deliver innovative ServiceNow solutions to our internal and external clients. This experienced developer with functional and technical expertise will help the House of Commons in the implementation of components and products under multiple Digital Business Products and Services (DBPS) projects.Description
Senior ServiceNow SME will serve as a CMDB expert and trusted advisor providing ServiceNow support and guidance to leadership business partners and internal teams. Senior ServiceNow SME will play a pivotal role in the designing configuring and implementation of the ServiceNow CMDB solutions to meet House of Commons’ business needs.Expertise
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform development and architecture
- Extensive experience in ITSM and IT asset management platform capabilities including development configuration integration and implementation with an advanced knowledge of different modules and applications.
- 3 years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB administration
- Experience with CDMB data modeling and data management
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow Reporting and Dashboards
- Experience with configuration management process
- Knowledgeable in ITIL processes
- Excellent communication and people skills
Activities
The consultant will perform the following activities:- Maintain evolve and document the CMDB data model workflows and processes.
- Review and update CMDB auto discovery capabilities
- Import and update CMDB data from a variety of sources.
- Collect and report on CMDB health metrics as required.
- Provide guidance and support to CI Managers on configuration aspects related to their services.
- Establish best practices to ensure that the configuration management of ServiceNow Application and Service portfolios are standardized and sustainable.
- Fulfill configuration management requests as assigned.
- Train team members on performing CMDB operational activities.
Additional Phases
The HoC reserves the right to add additional phases to this callup engagement where the number of days could be increased and the activities/deliverables could be updated as the callup engagement starts and the scope is better defined and understood. This is the HoC’s best estimate at this point in time. The HoC reserves the right to continue with the same resource(s) for any additional phases.Location of Work
Location: preferable Hybrid (onsite 181 Queen Ottawa and remote)
Consulting Resources
Pricing for Professional Services is based on a 7 hour workday.
Term
The HoC is exercising the first of two oneyear options. The current term is parttime from June 3 2024 to September 30 2024. The HoC reserves the right to extend the term for additional phases.
