Job Description

The Project/Construction Management Area Head (North Luzon/Cebu Projects) will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of hotel construction projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards all while aligning with our brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all hotel construction projects in the designated area.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining highquality standards.
  • Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules monitor progress and take proactive steps to mitigate delays.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction work meets our brand and quality standards.
  • Contractor Management: Select and manage contractors subcontractors and suppliers and oversee bidding processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with local building codes regulations and safety standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the construction process.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with internal stakeholders including the Director of Hotel Development and other relevant departments.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and financial updates for senior management.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the construction management team fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing hotel construction projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes codes and regulations.
  • Exceptional budget and schedule management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
